Medical Care - New Jersey

The following information is intended for New Jersey Workers’ Compensation policyholders utilizing managed care.

Employers choosing to participate should review the Employer Handbook and distribute a copy of the Initial letter to all employees, both of which are linked below.

Should a work-related incident occur, the employer must provide the injured worker with a copy of the Employee Notice at Time of Injury letter, which is linked below. A copy of this is also included in the Employer handbook.

Physician Look-Up

*Managed care for Workers’ Compensation is voluntary in some states. Services vary by state and are offered in accordance with all state laws and regulations. For New York, managed care is voluntary; a full list of authorized health care providers is available from the Workers’ Compensation Board. Employees may select or change their provider at any time without jeopardizing their medical or indemnity benefits.
